Considering the history and success of Sarcone’s bakery, Louis Sarcone, Jr. and his first cousin Anthony Bucci decided to open Sarcone’s Deli in 1997. In retrospect, this has turned out to be a remarkably good decision for Louis and Anthony. Sarcone’s Deli has been a shining star in Philadelphia, earning many accolades in it’s first 10 years of existence. It has become the perfect complement to it’s cornerstore, Sarcone’s Bakery. With the overwhelming popularity that the deli has experienced, it that the only logical conclusion was to offer this great name and product as a franchise. In April, our first franchise opened it’s doors in Medford, NJ. John and Angela McCann are the proud owners. |

In addition to the franchise program, we are excited to announce the construction of our NEW South Philadelphia storefront, located directly next to our original location. The new location at 736 South 9th St., is currently under construction and should be completed in the June-July timeframe. The photo to the right is an early glimpse of the new storefront.
